Free day in FEZ. When penetrating the streets of your medina (old city) we will feel that time recedes: the union structure is still present in the work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow other means of transport than donkeys and a constant tingling of people moves through the labyrinthine streets in the midst of which neighborhoods like one of the Andalusians and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools will surprise us. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. After visiting the medina, another option is to walk aimlessly through the streets of Fez-Jdid, where the royal palace, the mellah (Jewish quarter), and the oldest mosque in Fez are located.
